Tweenchronic is made up of 2 girls by the name of Alison and Stacey from Los Angeles Ca.
Patrice Wilson was looking for a new girl group with a strong and powerful dynamic. He came across their profiles after a submission and casting that PMW Live had done and he immediately selected them without holding a physical audition.
Alison and Stacey had the look and image for the girl group “Tweenchronic” that Patrice Wilson had been searching for. The girls are also active in the acting and commercial world. Their first single called “Skiprope” will be released late December of 2012, following their 2nd single called “Jump”.
Tweenchronic are here to stay and are going to take the world by surprise, so get ready for the new epidemic. Are you ready to be Chronified?
The Tweenchronic kids’ music video is anything but innocent
I can’t believe this is real. Jesus christ.
This is a music video by “Tweenchronic”, a pair of young girls being managed by the same guy who produced Rebecca Black’s ultra-viral hit “Friday”. With that in mind, you won’t be surprised to hear that the music video is appalling. But not just musically.
Firstly, we have kids drinking from cans in brown bags, looking like illicit alcohol.
Then we have a kid with a moustache providing secret powdered candy from inside his hat, on a street corner.
I’m speechless. I can’t find an official age for these kids but they look what, 12, 13?
Watch the video here and see what I mean. The bits with the Pixi Sticks are at 2:10 onwards, and there’s no mistaking what the director had in mind.

Frankly I wasn't shocked enough. If the girls want to shock me, they should have less clothes on or do a good song at least. Like heavy metal or something.

This was shocking in many circles cause the drug/alcohol use obviously portrayed with kids was a first in mainstream US kid music. That said you are right Mimsy, too many clothes.

But I give it major cred for going against the norm knowing it would cause problems. It is kinda a kids and adults FU to the drug war.
they should have....or do a good song at least
I guess if you've never done the skip rope you don't understand

Is there a double meaning? I just checked urban dictionary, but it says that skip rope isn't defined
There was a similar game when I was a kid. I loved to watch the girls playing it
