An innovative 'magic realist' documentary set in Iraq. Filmmaker Mark Cousins, who was brought up in a Northern Irish war zone, travels to Goptapa, a Kurdish-Iraqi village of just 700 people on a tributary of the Tigris river, and tries to make a dream film about a place that is normally only portrayed in current affairs programmes. He gives the kids cameras. They make little movies about war, love, a fish that goes to a magical place, and a chicken who debates justice. Despite the production being stopped twice by the Iraqi secret police, The First Movie is about wonder and the power of the imagination.

One problem with THIS set of links is that they were released at WB's right around a year ago [Oct. 29, 2010]. :think

The links provided in the thread for 'Saltwater Moose' are still alive, however [they were released back in May of this year]: https://www.first-loves.com/forums/v ... f=7&t=1912 (There's 30 files most at only 48MB's; they load pretty fast [within 5 mins] AND there's no waiting time between d/loads. )

It's a shame direct load links like 'Zippyfiles' have such a short shelf life... :(

As long as SOMEONE has a copy of a file that they can put back in their 'share' folder, eMule will always ROCK! :thumbsup

DDL links not working? What a shocker...too bad they didn't also have an emule link, hint, hint, hint, boyscouts it does work well for us at FLM ;)

If you look at the member tags
in that thread you will notice a
few of our/their members
have this file. I am sure one
of them will oblige us soon enough. :)
