Malala is the Pakistani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban on her way home from school for being an outspoken activist for girl's education. She was only 15 at the time and she miraculously survived. After her recovery and despite still being a target of the Taliban, she has continued her fight for education. She even gave a speech at the U.N. on her 16th birthday to support her cause. Last year she was the youngest person ever nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize but although she didn't win, she win's my prize for noblest and most courageous girl of the 21st-century.
