The best program for doing this is probably Nandub...

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ndub ... r?download

For screenshots simply open the file with nandub -> video -> Copy source frame to clipboard

Open Paint, press CTRL-V and hey presto! You have your screenshot :D

For movie clips simply open the file with nandub...

video -> select direct stream copy

audio -> select direct stream copy

Get to the point in the move you want to start from...

edit -> set selection start

Move along to the place when you want the clip to finish...

edit -> set selection end

Then...

File -> save as .AVI -> save

Done! :D

Thanks to america at fileheaven for his help :applause:

Another procedure:

Open movie with any player, resize the picture to the desired size, pause the movie at the desired scene and press the PRINT key on the keyboard.

Then open any graphics tool (WINDOWS PAINT f.i.), paste the picture and trim it to the size of the player's window and there you are!

if you press ALT + PRINT key, you just choose the window that is open to copy to clipboard,

so not the full desktop with start button etc... just the movie file
