What, are you reading my mind or something? Or am I just that predictable?
I have started on the subs, but I am not rushing it because I do not have either of the videos yet (
jezevex or uloz). Of course my rule is to make sure subtitles are synced and the video watched with the subs before posting any revised version.
But yeah, I am planning on doing this -- unless an enthusiastic FLM Czech wants to jump up and say, "No! Me, me, me! I wanna do this one! I love this show!" I would have to bow to someone with knowledge of Czech superior to that of Deepl or Google.
Or course when I "fix" subtitles I am relying on the accuracy of the computer translation, and just trying to turn it into passably natural-sounding English. Someone who knows the original language would be sure to notice mistranslations -- but they have no need for English subtitles, so would be unlikely to be looking at them.
