Clearly inspired by another film I posted, Liane, das Mädchen aus dem Urwald (1956). But famed shlockmeister Jesús Franco didn't make the same mistake, of shifting from the jungle environment back to civilization, where stunning 16-year-old Katja Bienert would have to be clothed.

For those who look at the previews below and wonder, is there a single scene in this entire movie where Katja isn't topless, the answer is ... nope. Not one!

Much of Jesús Franco's work was done with foreign actors, in languages other than Spanish. This movie though, originally was in Spanish. Katja Bienert (who is German) speaks the language. My blu-ray release is from the region A disc and contains dubbed English dialogue rather than the original track plus subs.

RFF got Katja's age wrong by the way. Her 17th birthday was 3 months after the film's release, so ...

RFF Doesn't have much in mind in getting the actor's age right, Katja Bienert made another film says she has 13 (1979) but at the time of filming she has 11

Somehow the very explicit lesbian sex scene in Linda (1981) when she was 14 that seemingly never caused any protests and the undenieable fact that Franco would have endangered the whole project of the first legal porn movie in spanish history, Lilian (la virgen pervertida) (1984), if he had used material of a 17 year old girl (or even younger if Bienerts claims are right) cause some grave doubts about her birth date - though she insists again and again on its correctness ...

When you come right down to it, we go with the best information available. Nothing is completely certain. It's happened before that young actors have claimed to be even younger than they are, to make their talent seem more extraordinary for casting directors or get roles they otherwise wouldn't have been considered for. But watching Katja in several of her movies she could easily be telling the truth. There are plenty of examples of surprisingly explicit scenes involving even younger actors. Eva Ionesco and Lara Wendel at age 11, for example.

You'd have to check the laws in the country where the movie was shot, at the time it was made. What age limitations (if any) existed and what verification requirements did production companies have to meet? Directors frequently did their filming abroad when their home countries were too restrictive for what they wanted to do. The finished product might be perfectly legal back home even if it couldn't have been made there.

I only have knowledge in the United States after Blue Lagoon and the restrictions on films with those contents have begun, in France and Italy they are a bit lax and they are sure to be from the rest of the world there I don't know

Maladolescenza caused a scandal and was available mostly in heavily censored versions (not to talk about the stupid german cp court decission of 2006) ...
"Plenty" of scenes seems to be at least exaggerated. I can remember 4 movies with underage boys displaying an erection (one of them including visible masturbation), one movie with a 12 year old boy simulating sex with a woman in a very clumsy way (Sweet Sweetback's Baad Asssss Song) and the rather funny scene with the little boy playing with a womans tits in 800 Balas.
But for a girl sex scene nothing worse than Linda comes to my mind right now (and even Maladolescenza is less explicit for my taste) ...

In Latin America, especially Brazil, it is normal to begin sexuality at an early age and it is not because Eva Iionesco was promiscuous not! it is real! It's absurd when they polemicize those films

From my personal experience as child I would conclude there are in fact two distinct things: starting to have sexual feelings as such and getting aware of the sexual nature of them (that is noticing that sex is something that includes you too). Reaching the second state you would probably do it if you had the opportunity - and the courage ...
