In eMule, you can choose between Automatic, Server, KAD network or Global.
If you do, you will see that mostly the result of Server are equal to those of Global (Servers), and that the results of KAD Network differs somewhat.
I usually use all three methods, so every download for me, has three tabs.

My question: is there one best option, if yes, which is it? And is it true that Automatic encompasses all three in the same tab? If yes, how well does that function?

Well, not just ed2k servers. The FLM itself is hosted in Ukraine, in case you didn't now...

Oh I didn't enter this site through the .ua side for some time, fair point. Considering the .ua sites under ru control in the past I really can't see a negative side to this situation.

If US "invasion" I'm sure that would be the case, the ru seem to be a bit more careful about things

Yes, I guess that's why they only bomb Bakmut and nowhere else ...
