A young girl learns she may have to sell her beloved pet pig, Elvis, to a local farmer to save the family farm. The girl is super cute, but there is a speaking pig in this movie...

And that one had a spider who could write! (Although I only saw the old cartoon version.)
For both the movies, it is just the animals talking to each other, right? Essentially the movie translates animal talk into people talk so we can understand it, not the animals speaking the Queen's English to the humans and they understand the animals? That would be very strange.

Elvis the Pig - Humans can actually hear the pig talk
Oh wow, I have to see that! Although maybe I should wait until I am ready to sit down in the evening with a drink.

Wait, I misremembered
It has been a while since I last watched it so I just rewatched some of the movie.. Humans can't understand the pig
But I feel like we need a movie where animals can talk and humans can actually understand imo

The movies with pigs that I watched in my childhood came to my mind. Also, there was always a boy or a girl in the movie. Ahhh I miss those movies so much.

My day has been ruined! I even downloaded this movie, I was so excited. Children and their cute pets are a dime a dozen, but them carrying on a conversation would be something new!
Spoiler:

I can not count cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd of course. But after some thought I came up live action + cartoon Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) and the live action + CGI movies Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) and the Paddington (2014) series. But nothing where a live action animal talks to a human and the human understands. Chevy Chase did the voice for the dog Benji in Oh Heavenly Dog (1980) but I don't think anyone understood the dog.

I did not realize there were so many pet piggy movies! Other than Charlotte's Web I can only think of Emil och griseknoen (1973)
