The mystery begins with the synopsis and the movie poster ...

SPOILERS MAY FOLLOW IN MY MUSINGS!!! BE WARNED!! In fact, DO NOT even look at the CAST at IMDB. I think THAT alone gives SPOILERS!

There are only 4 daughters in the poster! Hmmm.

Answer:

Spoiler: The fifth daughter is killed off in the first 7 minutes. Not really a spoiler!

The cast at IMDB lists two sisters...

Spoiler: ...(?) playing three characters. Maybe twin actresses playing triplets? I can understand that, as twin actresses are a dime a dozen, but triplets are rarer.

I also see another set of twins (maybe) playing the same characters, maybe as adults?

EDIT: I SPOILERED part of my above musings because I was wrong in my guesses and the truth is a Spoiler, although the answer is revealed in the first 10 minutes. The other set of twins at IMDB are simply the same actresses listed TWICE, under different professional names: Anna and Carla Ruiz; Anna and Carla Ruiz Solera. No mystery there.

There are also some adults in the cast where their character names just might reveal some of the SECRET.

EDIT: Oh yeah, definitely. Do NOT look at IMDB!

Most mysterious, there is no one listed as playing "Fran". Who is she?

These are just rhetorical questions. Anyone who has seen it, please do not answer! I want to figure it out by watching the movie.

I was very interested in the secrets and mysteries, so I was GOING to watch Devil's file this morning. But I got distracted for two hours at FLM. That's OK, I have several more movies downloading now as a result, so it was time well spent ...

Anyway, if anyone is seriously interested in the 17Gb eMule link I previously posted, here are the Specifications:

It took less than 12 hours to download in eMule with only one or two sources. (I forgot to check if they were HighID or LowID, sorry.) I will continue to share it awhile (in HighID), but don't anyone in future ask me to reshare. It's too damn big! Ha! Once I take it off my internal drive, it is staying off.

It has internal Spanish and English subtitles in both text and BD format. Strangely, the English text subtitles have a problem: they are for another movie!! ("La vida padre" AKA "Two Many Chefs" (2022).) So, here are the CORRECT English text subtitles retimed for the monster file:
