It's not a request for the movie but a request for an upload support system (preferable MEGA) I could borrow (with the owner supervision of course)
I'm currently AI upscaling the movie (from the PAL DVD 4:3 prog version).

Here is a sample (this website re encoded an deformed the original sample down at 720p).

My goal :
- From : DVD/PAL/4:3 (720x576)/25fps.
- To : Ai 1440*1152@50fps (double initial resolution with frame interpolation).

for those wondering why i'm working on the 4:3 version and not the 16:9 ... well ... the 16:9 DVD version is just a frame cutout from the 4:3 DVD with interlacing.

The sample looks nice, but please don't do it with 50 fps. It looks so unnatural, almost AI created.

For my taste, it's much too clean. Without any natural film grain. Just my two cents...

Thanks for the message and yeah ... it's not a request and I couldn't find a proper forum suited for that situation. Ok for the original 25fps and the grain I guess, but then i probably need to work differently since the color rework and the final compression goes with the frame interpolation. I'll deal with that condition in due time.

Like so the entire movie should be around 5.6gb (the website is still fucking up result, I added some grain effect, enough to be called 80's like grain but the 720p re encoding erased the result).

I know nothing about AI upscaling so I will not comment on that. However,

You do not need to borrow someone else's account. You can create your own free MEGA account with 20Gb of storage.

Well, a few years ago i remember mega free accounts were "limited" ... and a sub accounts were what i was looking for.
Thx for the message and check again the orignal post, i just added a different sample.

Could you experiment with movies that were never released on DVD or also had improvements so the quality is the same.?

I can try.
We can start by looking at the best quality we can find and then we'll see what i can do with it. The best the source is the better the end result will be.
