WinMX
It looks like those that know a good deal when they see one have started arriving in WorldCinema
Re: WinMX
Good luck with WinMX,
Have to say though that although Workz says the servers are "decentralized' this does not mean they are anonymous, need encryption for that, such as freenet so i.p. addresses are traceable.
WinMX (seems to me) to be the next choice for the majority (general public) after Kazaa for general filesharing, and possibly the next choice for LEA's.
That said, I am not familiar with the network and from what I have read at fileheaven it does seems to be a safe p2p network, I leave it to you to decide, doesn't really matter, as long as you only share a moderate number of personal files and don't make money from p2p then should be ok
Personally I'm more than happy with emule, but DC (hub), BT (torrent), WinMX etc may offer a few more on-topic releases, so it's up to you if you try them or not

Re: WinMX
Hi Rich
I think eMule is a treasure chest for wonderfull rare films, and WinMX is as you say "the next choice for the majority".
Finding a decent chat channel on WinMX makes all the differance, and thats when WinMX really gets exciting... see WoRkZ's info.
I wouldn’t suggest for a minute that WinMX is an alternative to eMule, but its a really great place to show off your catch in the channels, and reach users with the same interests on a more personal level - it all seems more real some how....... hard to explain really.

Re: WinMX
Some unfortunate news.
WorldCinema is closed.
If any of you in MX land with primary connections fancy creating a new channel, please let us know.
