How to increase my upload speed?

Post by Devil❧ »   0 likes

While I was in low ID my upload speed was 1.62mbps but after I got high ID its at below 300kbps only.

Is there anyway to increase the speed?? ( Btw I didn't set any download & upload limiter, its at unlimited. Also I've connected with Server & Kad.)

Speed test shows my download speed is at 55.0mbps & upload is at 65.1mbps

I would bet that *I* do not have any answers (sorry), but the first technical question that a knowledgeable person might ask is HOW you managed to get HighID. Are you using a port forwarding VPN? Or are you port forwarding on your router? Or did you just wave a magic wand, like some people seem to be able to do? Do you have a Static IP? Do you use a proxy server? That sort of information might help someone make suggestions.

I can't really help you either, but just getting a high ID can't be the reason for a lower upload speed.

BTW: I can't be that bad. I just finished downloading "Here for blood".

Yeah you're right its getting good speed now but speed drop is constant. It was never happened while I was in low ID.
This is my first time using high ID so I thought I need to configure something.

Alright I'll just leave the info here if someone know it helps.
I'm port forwarding from my router with static IP , no VPN, no proxy servers. Connected in Server & Kad.
Server I'm currently in Emule-security.org
OS:-Win11 64bit (Hope this info is enough if I missed anything just let me know)

Btw Ghost & Night how much upload/download speed you're both getting normally per user?? (I just want to confirm whether the issue is in my side)

I too would love faster speeds. I know for a fact that my using a VPN *DOES* slow things down, despite anyone claiming anything to the contrary. (But my VPN gives me port forwarding, which gives me HighID, which gives me far more connections: to all the LowID users.) So do not take MY example to indicate what yours "ought" to be.

There are others here who get much faster speeds even with a VPN, so it is very much dependent on the quality of the ISP connection in general. What I have now is an IMPROVEMENT over what was previously called "broadband" here, but seemed more like Dial-Up speeds. Of course upload speeds PER USER depend on how many users are connected and how good THEIR Internet is too.

Hopefully an EMULING EXPERT may take notice of this thread and make suggestions. The only thing I can think of is to try a different eMule Server. Emule Security used to be very good but I have heard reports of problems with it. Try Emule Sunrise, for example. It may have no noticeable effect. Maybe a Server with a smaller "Ping" number?

I'm giving 10 MB/s upload speed with 15 upload slots. The speed per user varies extremly. Some can only get 50 kb/s, others 2 MB/s. I don't know what's the reason for that.

I don't know what's your maximum speed from your ISP. I have 500 Mbit DL and 100 Mbit UL.

What they CLAIM, which is a LIE? Or the reality? I don't remember, but your numbers sound MUCH higher.

Anyway, I am just one of a household of HEAVY Internet users, with streamers and online gamers among them. I am the only one who eMules. If I was the only one using the Internet for a day and I torrented without the VPN, I am sure it would be much faster. Surely nowhere near 100 Mbit, however!
