For twelve-year-old Ranji from Mumbai, Bollywood is the greatest: The colorful films of the Indian film industry with their infectious songs and dance choreographies make him happy - like millions of other compatriots. He wants nothing more than to stand in front of the camera with his declared hero, the Indian superstar Amir Roshan. But his great longing moves into an unreachable distance when his parents reveal to the boy their dream of emigrating to distant Germany. Only the hope of attending a casting for Amir Roshan's new film keeps him going - even if it takes place in his old homeland, India. You have to fight for your dreams - they won't come true on their own. Neighboring girl Toni, who turns out to be an unexpected ally for Ranji, knows that too. With courage and combined forces, the two set out to make their dreams come true - and in doing so they also find the happiness of true friendship.

That last screenshot grabbed my attention for sure, maybe because of my intense interest in food and irrational fear of eating fire. I have just barely enough knowledge of Indian culture for the words "betel nut leaf" to pop into my head, so I just HAD to search online for "flaming betel nut leaf". How about that, it really is a thing!

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Thank you for the movie, Caleyunior!

That probably explains why it was new to me.

I found subtitles on emule and resynchronized them to Caleyunior's file. It seems Caleyunior's version
has 7 minutes cut compared to the version this subtitle was originally synced to. :think

original file name:
Traume.sind.wie.wilde.Tiger.2021.1080p.AMZN.WEB-DL.DD+5.1.H.264-KicWEB.en.srt

my resynced and edited file:

By the way, any pointers on how to post this as an attachment?
I couldn't figure it out, so I had to share it via emule.

[Asking how to post them as an attachment is very considerate, as it will be at FLM "forever" without having to rely on eMule. :heart ]

Click "Full Editor & Preview" at the bottom of the thread to start a new Post.
Scroll further down & Click "Attachments".
Click "Add files".
Navigate through your computer drives in the popup.
When you find the file, select it and click "Open".
Let the file load.
Leave it to default to the end of the Post with the header ATTACHMENTS like I did, or move the cursor and click "Place inline" if you want it at a specific place in the post.

Oh another one from Germany who was not listed here for so long time. Well done.

I remember me on the god dance parts, the wonderfull movie clip who "the boy create" and I liked one Song who the kids sing (who you can see in the trailer), but overall the movie is rather mediocre. It's more a "feel good" movie without any real deepnes. Many parts of the movie simply work with completely exaggerated (and especially stupid) clichés and this story doesn't really deserve that.
