Getting past quota for fichier downloads

It is possible that fichier is being blocked by your browser pop-up blocker or your ISP.

Hi, I have a question about 1fichier, how to bypass the time limit ? The thing is that there is one movie, rare and only on this hosting it is in Full HD quality - the movie weighs almost 10 gigabytes and is divided into 20 parts, but for each file there is a time limit, how to get around it?

Yeah, 1fichier downloads with a large number of file splits are a real PITA.

The way to bypass the wait time is to use a VPN that allows you to change your IP.

I have a free VPN extension googl - Touch VPN - Secure and unlimited VPN proxy, tried it, you can download one more file without limitation, then the time is turned on again :(
I tried changing countries as well, the time for the next download increases
Maybe you can suggest which VPN to use

You have to change your IP address with the VPN every single time that it reaches the limit. I think that fichier only allows one file per IP and then it limits it. If you have 12 parts, then that is 11 IP address changes. It is best to do this when you would not be interrupting other computer work. Some countries /IP addresses will give you slower connections.

Another way to change your IP address without a VPN is to disconnect from the Internet (WiFi) and then reconnect. Your ISP will give you a new address. A restart of your computer will also do that, but that takes a little longer. It is also tedious to do a dozen times over, WHIRRR KLUNK KLUNK loading Windows... Of course you should pay attention to whatever you may be doing on your computer that might be interrupted by temporarily disconnecting Internet. If you are composing a big Gmail Email then you should save the Draft or finish and Send it first.

If you have finished one fichier part and are waiting to go on to the next, then after refreshing your WiFi you can continue in your browser with the next part. If you are downloading ONE huge file that gets interrupted, then you should use a downloader like Jdownloader2 (which is free). If the download is interrupted, then you disconnect/reconnect your WiFi, and then resume the download in JD2. It will continue where it left off as long as you have not deleted it from JD2.

Thank you very much for such an extensive answer, yes I noticed that with VPN enabled the download is slow ;)
I'll take your advice and turn off the modem and wifi then turn it back on after a minute and try this method
I guess I still need to clear my history and cookies before each download
Each file is 500 mb and the total is 10 gigs

You should be able to turn your WiFi on/off from your computer without cycling off the modem. (I do not remember for certain if there is any difference between wired Internet and wireless in that respect, but I think that wired also can be shut on/off from the computer WITHOUT having to interrupt the router.) That way if there any other household Internet users you will not be interrupting THEIR connections. You can try different methods and see what works and is easiest. Windows does like to change things with every version, but it sould be under something like "Network & Internet". I imagine Mac & Linux have similar methods.

Clearing history and cookies does not hurt, but I have not found it necessary when switching from IP address to IP address for a succession of downloads. If you download in your browser, you probably just need to close your browser and then reopen it after the IP address change. Then if that does not work you can delete history and cookies.

Doing purely computer-driven switching of the IP is faster than physically turning the modem or computer on and off.

Tried nothing gives, again this waiting time, I turned off the modem and wi-fi for a minute, then turned on, cleared the browser history, closed the browser tried to download and again wait :(

I am at a complete loss as to why this is not working!

If for some reason you set up a "Fixed IP" address, then maybe my suggestion would not work in THAT case.

Alex, have you tried going BACK to your free VPN and switching to a different Server for every file download? That is, forgetting entirely my suggestion about switching your WiFi off and on?

Does anyone else have suggestions?

To avoid the wait, you need a new (public) IP address. With DSL-type of modem, you usually get a new IP each time you reconnect. With Cable modems it can be more difficult, but usually you get a new IP if you switch off the modem for 30 minutes or so. In case of VPN, you might get a new IP when you reconnect, but the IP might be shared with other users who download also. Just turning the wifi off and on won't give you another (public) IP.

I suppose IPv4 is used. IPv6 has different tricks.

Type "what's my ip" in Google to find your current IP address.

BTW, speaking of "A la place du coeur", both 1fichier links are the same file, which in turn is the same as one of the eMule links. Otherwise I'm afraid this is getting off-topic...

I have one IP address, it probably doesn't change. :(
Perhaps there is not by ip but by country, I changed the VPN country does not give anything :(
I can only download two parts, then the time comes up again and I have to wait :(
