On amazon.com, the DVD has two films on it, this one and Swallows and Amazons. Do you have that one too? I'm partial to Suzanna Hamilton - what a nose. :

and yet this must be one of the most popular addaptions ever in the UK, shown on TV every year at Christmas without fail.

Jenny Agutter plays the mum in this version, where as she plays the eldest sister in the original version, and is far more cute in the original . Thats not to say the sisters in this version are not cute.
