*Thug in a Suit* (西装暴徒), released in 2024, is a Chinese action crime film directed by Cheng Siyi and written by Huang Mengmeng. It stars Chen Guokun, Mu Qi Miya, Shi Yanneng, and Wang Baotong. The film premiered on January 18, 2024, on iQIYI.

The story, set in a fictional Southeast Asian country, revolves around Zhou Ke (played by Chen Guokun) and his quest for revenge. Zhou Ke was originally a top agent for a professional security company. He was imprisoned for seven years after single-handedly rescuing his brother, Bano (Shi Yanneng), from a gang's hideout. Before going to jail, he hired a crippled assassin to kill the gang leader and revealed that Zhou Ke's wife and children had been killed by a bomb, and he himself was supposed to have died in that explosion.

In prison, Zhou Ke is targeted by enemies, but he uses this as an opportunity to train his boxing skills, marking each year on the wall as he awaits his release to seek revenge. After his release, Zhou Ke sheds his suit, changes his name to Li Fei, and lives as a clown among ordinary people. He befriends a young girl named Xue Ling (Wang Baotong). However, a gang's USB drive accidentally ends up in the girl's bag, leading to her kidnapping and drawing Zhou Ke back into a new conflict.

FULL MOVIE SYNOPSIS SPOILERED BY MODERATOR

Spoiler: Zhou Ke rescues the girl but becomes wanted by the police as a result. While on the run, he discovers that the person who ordered the hit by the assassin years ago was someone else: a familiar old friend who is now a local councilman. Zhou Ke tries to cooperate with a righteous police officer but is betrayed and is once again pursued by the crippled assassin. To exact revenge and reclaim justice, he puts on his suit again and transforms back into the Thug in a Suit. The film features collusion between the underworld and corrupt police, mysterious assassins, and a councilman who leverages gang power to consolidate his position, creating distinct antagonist characters. Immediately upon his release from prison, Zhou Ke eliminates the gang that kidnapped the little girl and survives two attacks by the crippled assassin. When both the police and the underworld are searching the city for him, he suddenly appears at the ultimate villain's door and quickly defeats Bano and others.

Welcome, purelykid!! I just read your first post now and was immediately interested. I do not know if it was edited later, but what I saw was enough for me anyway. (I confess that clowns creep me out, so I am not sure about that part.) Little girls in action films are totally the sort of thing I like, so I hope she has some real screen time. I will try both eMule and the torrent and see what happens. Please do not be discouraged, I am very happy for your contribution!

If you choose the smaller 4.3Gb version by direct-download, multiup-io has multiple Mirror links. Some of the options may only give fast speeds if you have an account with the download site chosen. Based on my experience, for free downloads without accounts I recommend Gofile.io or 1fichier.com. Some of the others are slower and some I have not tried. (I am using gofile.) Try them all if it pleases you, and then you are certain to know more than I do!

I also completed the smaller, direct-download version while I await a start on the larger version. The 4.3gb is in Chinese with hardcoded Chinese subtitles. I did a quick scroll-through and I see high-intensity action with a little bit of brutality and torture thrown in for good measure. Action movie fans will certainly expect this. [Code] [Image]

Citronleaf, I think I know what you are talking about. The little girl has PLENTY of screen time! If you are familiar with The Man From Nowhere (2010) you would likely see some similarities. I consider this a GOOD thing.
