@ghost What do you think of 2160p? Because you did a lot of restoration work.

Welcome to FLM.
How should I answer this question? 2160p is 4K. Usually 1080p is enough for me.

2160p is 4K, Yes, I know, I just express it in different ways for quick understanding, but maybe it leads to confusion instead.

Yes, that's my guess, thank you for confirming this.
I agree that 1080P is enough for most movies (but it needs to ensure good compression parameters)
But for a few high-quality and detailed works, I definitely support the better experience brought by 4K/up-to-120fps/HDR, etc.

Personally I'd welcome 4K transfers of films available here, as long as they're natively mastered/scanned at 4K and not just AI upscales.

Maybe center-left of topic, but I think it is funny when I read that certain movies have been announced for a 4K disk edition, and then I immediately see new torrent releases that are 4K upscales. Can't they wait a few months for the real thing? Or are they challenging the diskmakers to do better?
Anyway, I am sure there are members interested in 4k of at least some FLM movies. There is nothing wrong with sharing what you have.

Sure, the right encoding settings are always important, also for 4K or even SD.
My only 4K work so far was Is-Slottet. It's an AI-upscale from the blu-ray and in HDR colorspace:

There are a few 4K movies on eMule, for example

But maybe most people can't play x265 or hdr or don't care about 4K?

I like NOTA-BENE's files, and I can play x265.

I am all for 2160p. I'll download a 4K version every time, if it exists. Not everyone has as much external hard drive space as I do though - I think a general rule of thumb for posting here is to include a 1080p version (assuming one hasn't already been posted) so people have the option of either 1080p or 2160p. But absolutely post the big file if you have it!

4K HDR is a treat if you have a 4K OLED display like the LG C3 42 inch I use as a monitor. But it gets very easy to spot compression artifacts now so I have started to go for full discs and remuxes.
