How many people would be interested in a website that would store subs? My first thought is to make it user unloadable. So everyone could join up. To make it easy I would prefer they were uploaded in RAR. But then comes the issue of viruses... I have been pondering the idea for a while. Given the average size of a sub file hosting them is not an issue. Either way I think I’m going to work on some base code to store and search thru them.

To make it a bit more user friendly I’m thinking of setting the site up for english, german and french. My german is ok but my french sucks. So I might ask for a little help with the trans.

Yeah, there are plenty of sub sites, but perhaps it would be nice to have one sharing ontopic subs that we can all submit our own subs to, maybe?

Or even better, maybe have a thread for subs only, with emule links to those that we have shared.

I guess I have never looked for a sub titles file site before. They sure have a lot. But I've got a few ideas theres does not and it give me a few things to think on. Plus seems there site is only in english but I could have just missed somthing. Either way i will create a basic site and see how it goes.

yea but being 2475 for the one person with the sub can be a bit frustrating when you just want to watch the movie...

In Shared Files, if you set the priority of the file to release, people won't have to wait so long.

Don't know about other clients, but eMulePlus also gives preference to rare and small files, so subs will qualify on both counts.

I think losts idea is good as well. id rather not wait to download a sub when I can get it instantly.

Sure we'd probably have most of the subs on his site, to start with anyway. But lots of users just getting started on this topic of movie downloads wont.
