Moved to Canada. How did you figure out the country at all? I do not see the country listed at IMDB nor at Tubi.

Tubi became inaccessible throughout the European Union as a result of the GDPR entering into force on May 25, 2018. It was later announced that Tubi would relaunch in the United Kingdom by early 2019. According to their website, they "hope to relaunch in the EU in the future". and is "working on compliance [with GDPR] and is planning to relaunch in European countries soon".

In July 2024, Tubi launched in the United Kingdom.

Basically Tubi should now be accessible in the UK/Britain

MAN! It is bad enough that I struggle to scroll scroll scroll past all the advertising for completely unrelated movies to get to the Details for the actual movie the page was supposed to be about, but I swear I TRIED. If the relevant information that was actually there was up-to-date it might make it worth it. Thank you. I remember when the site was simply a database and not so obviously advertising for Amazon. It is shocking that an Amazon-owned site will also have links for competitor Google products (YouTube) and Fox (Tubi).

Also, to be honest.. At first, I didn't bother checking the Country of Origin for this movie

Since this is a Tubi original movie and Tubi is an American service, I just assumed this was a US film so I didn't bother checking the country

I learnt my lesson with that lol

Only after I posted this thread in the USA section is when I decided to check the Country of Origin

I use adblockers, I meant the advertising that is built in as part of the page. The huge blocks of pictures in "More to explore", "User lists", "More like this", "Top picks" ... all advertising for other movies that have nothing to do with this one. The page for this movie counts as good because the names of characters are short enough that they are spelled out in full instead of abbreviated to make space for the glamour shots. (Usually I have to go to the Full Credits on the link to get uncropped names, but it would be convenient if they were on the top page.) I seem to remember there is a way to force IMDB to just plain text, but that is not what is accessed with a simple online search MOVIE NAME YEAR IMDB.

Ooh banner ads, almost drove me off the internet. Adblockers are what makes it bearable.

Amazon bought IMDB in 1998 because they were forward thinking and realized that a movie search on IMDB could lead to a DVD sale on Amazon. So naturally it makes sense that every single IMDB page promotes as many movies as possible.
