Anyone ever heard of this awards ceremony?
Established in 1978, the Young Artist Awards is Hollywood's longest-running awards event which recognizes and honors young talent between the ages of 5 and 18. Through year-round support, participants are primed for greater achievements in their craft.
The Young Artist Awards, which was founded by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association's (Golden Globes) recognized historian, Maureen Dragone, is presented by The Young Artist Academy™. The foundation provides young artists with mentorship, experience, and accolades that are otherwise unavailable to young performers.
YAA has honored many young artists who have continued on to successful adult careers, becoming household names in the entertainment industry.
