Igor is a professional boxer whose world comes to a halt when he learns that his brain has been severely damaged from his many years of fighting. Refusing to undergo surgery, he knows that his days are numbered. Not having much left, his last desire is to leave a child behind as his legacy. A young Vietnamese immigrant, Yen Ha, agrees to have his baby in return for Polish citizenship. Despite the nature of their agreement, they slowly fall in love, but then Igor's health deteriorates...

Luu De Ly stars in a story of the immigrant experience in late 2000's Poland. This was her only film, for whatever reason she didn't continue acting. Personally I found her character Yen Ha a lot more relatable than Igor, who was not a terribly nice guy and behaved like a dick most of the time. Luu was also much cuter.
Found on rutracker. I got rid of two audio tracks, the horrible Russian voiceover and a lower quality Polish track, and kept the high quality Polish dts audio. Then I translated the Russian subtitles into English. Not perfect but reasonably good, you'll have no trouble understanding the dialogue.

Thanks for the movie. Unfortunately, IMDb is very poor in listing the casts of Vietnamese films and series.
Lưu Đê Ly made her debut in a supporting role in the teen series "Chít và Pi," filmed in 2007. After "Moja Krew" (note that the film was not screened in Vietnam due to its sensual scenes), she appeared in other films and television shows.
Today, she is quite popular in Vietnam, although more for her personal scandals than for her acting work.

Vietnam isn't the only place. IMDb has been going downhill ever since Amazon took over and closed the movie discussion boards - a big FU to the site's contributors. It used to be that much of the detailed information, including images and trivia, production locations and filming dates, were supplied by users who contributed this stuff for free.
Now we only get background details for the most popular movies and the same photos the studio releases in their press kits. A growing pile of films are little more than stubs on the IMDb site. Minimal detail. I love the term "enshittification" because it perfectly describes what big corporations do to
everything they touch. IMDb is like a library that changed management and the new people order only a few books from the NY Times Bestseller List anymore. The pre-takeover collection is outstanding. But as time goes on, the overall quality of the library declines.
Thanks for the info! You do some of the best research on this board.

IMDB is an excellent site for ideas of what movies to buy or view on Prime Video on Amazon!

Great advertising.
I 'member the olden days when to find out information about cast & crew filmographies we had to go to the library/bookstore. You are SO VERY RIGHT that for that brief pre-takeover period we had the ideal online movie resource. Now it is mostly advertising.

This is why I always use the reference version of the page - just add /reference to the address.
With this movie for example:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1471195/reference/
I also have an ad blocker, to get rid of whatever might still run on the page. The reference version doesn't automatically play whatever video is on the standard version. Always a plus. If I want to know what's on Amazon Prime I can look for myself. That doesn't fix the lack of background information on new movies that don't happen to be big studio productions - but at least you can still access that info for older films.
I'm waiting for the streamline though. When they get rid of most background info and you only have access to the same basic stuff as every other clone movie index site out there. I'm sure it's coming. We'll get a flashy "new" design for the page and most of what people go there for will be missing. Still accessible for a while to those who know the tricks to get there directly, but eventually not even that way. I'm sure the reference version won't be around forever. Already you can find images in Google search from IMDb that have been taken down and the thumbnail in the search engine is all that's left of them. They're making their photo galleries smaller on purpose.

Gee I liked that Reference view and immediately you tell me it is probably going away!

The only improvement I would want is to get rid of the "All topics" on the right side that wastes a THIRD of the page, at least at my zoom setting. It can just be a drop-down menu. I actually like that there are virtually no pictures there. I guess all I really wanted was a searchable online reference book, which was pretty much what the old IMDB was. The boards had so much useful information but it was also easy to waste time in the purely trolling message threads... and I just lack self-discipline.

IMDb is barely usable without an ad-blocker
99% of the ads on imdb is like amazon or prime shit
Not interested in the slightest with those ads

The pictures they took down were BTS stuff, and pictures of the cast that sometimes couldn't be found even on their social media accounts. What's left are the same images you can find everywhere on the internet. It's sad.
They have no imminent plans to take away the reference view, that I know of. It's just what experience has taught me to expect. More ads, and more intrusive ads. More stuff designed to direct you to their premium services and less of the background information movie buffs are looking for. It's the same as every other site or service that gets bought out by a bigger corporate fish. It's happening with streaming platforms. It's happening with news outlets. Microsoft and Apple have been doing it for years, taking away what people liked about their products to give us more useless shit they can monetize. If there's a way to make their site display in a convenient, info dense, ad sparse format, they're going to take that away sooner or later. Probably as soon as some Amazon executive realizes the feature is still there.

Well known bug. VLC can't play TS files with subtitles.
Either change the video container to something like MKV or use a different media player like MPC player
