I have to agree with you about V O-T. She's cute but I can't really bring myself to believe she's younger than 18 or 19.

She did do some other films when she was younger that are also floating about that would be likely to belong here.

It might be the time difference is related to the 24fps -> 25fps. The film playing 4% faster. It would take about 5 minutes off the length.

The movie was released when the actress was 17 (april 1969, while Romina Power turned 18 in october). Moreover, it was filmed earlier, when she was 17, or even 16. This thread definitely should be moved to main-topic forum.

Nah, I'm not convinced just because of an accident of birth. But thank you for an alternate view. I've seen the movie, and read both versions of the book many years before (with the character of Justine starting out even younger) so I am not just guessing about something I know little about. The movie really has nothing to do with CHILDREN, despite possibly the lead actress being 16 during filming. People can watch it if they want to, but it is NOT a "First Loves Movie". I have rejected other movies for similar reasons.
