Again in troubles

I apologize for not remembering the previous answer, but I remember clearly that I already asked this question on different occasion and it was answered. Now, recently I d/ded a torrent with a collection of Astrid Lindgren movies, like Pippi, Madita, Brothers Lionheart etc. (in Swedish). After it was finished I got with every movie a bunch of short files in for me mysterious format .r01 up to .r99. My Boilsoft Video Joiner says it can´t handle it. No idea, no clue what to do. Thanks in advance for every advice (this time I´ll note it somewhere outside of my PC).

Sounds like a Rar file. IF you don't have winrar your computer won't recognize it.

Winrar is use to extract compressed files. Install Winrar, right-click on r01, "Extract Here."

By the way, if you have anti-virus protection, it never hurts to scan a torrent Rar file first before opening it.

No, Amadeus, I have RAR installed and this doesn´t looks like .rar file. Anyway, I´ll make a try, maybe I´m wrong, I´m definitely techically very usnkilled. Thx for advice.

Might also be a Kremlin file that started out as a Rar file. lol.

Normally RAR files are .RAR, .R01, .R02 ..., not .R01, .R02 ... .R99. So there's something odd already... sure you didn't overlook them?

And when using that style of numbering you are limited to 101 .R files per set. If .R99 is really the final file it will be smaller than the rest (which will all be the same size). If .R99 is the same size as the rest there are more, and you'll have to figure out the naming... I haven't come across that in so long I forget how it's done.

Well, in fact there´s always 92 or 93 files, except the last one all of them have 47,6 MB.

In that case they definitely look like RAR files of a DVD image. But if they don't extract normally, that usually means they are passworded.
