Garbage is what it is. Uninstall it, disable automatic updates.

Not at all. Works great. :thumbsup

To patch tcpip.sys I use XP-antispy. :thumbsup :clap Look under the special menu.

Iv didn’t install SP2 until only a couple of months ago.

I’m of the opinion that if it works, don’t fix it!

I don’t think ill be getting SP3 for a very long time, at least until I can be bothered to deal with the program conflicts it will inevitably create.

XP SP3 is primarily a collection of all the Windows Updates since the original release of XP. I haven't had a single instance of program incompatibility because of this.

That said, SP3 is a long install, especially if you have a slow computer. Better get the XP SP3 integrated CD.

You got it! Yes, a couple of times the signature spam appeared later rather than with the original post. Could be cleverness on their part to avoid admins noticing, but I am more inclined to believe they just don't know how to build a script to reliably post the signature.

I deleted the spam above, as well as in two other threads, just so people reading this get really really confused what we are talking about. :icon_hu
