Kalli lives with his mother near Reykjavik. He is a bright boy who leads a sheltered life and surrounds himself with the latest technology. After some trouble at school, he is sent to stay for the holidays with his father and new family far away in the isolated north of Iceland, a part of the country with extreme weather conditions and other dangers. With no reception for his mobile phone and his only company provided by Ellen, his dour step-sister who speaks to spirits, Kalli decides it's time to leave. Before long, he finds himself in the middle of a blizzard where he is confronted by a wild polar bear and makes an incredible discovery when he is visited by the ghost of a boy who needs help in clearing his name for a past deed that he has been blamed for. No Network is a heart-warming, family adventure with a hint of the supernatural and a great story at its centre.

A story about growing up in 1960's Iceland... Kalli (Bergpor Porvaldsson) has wrongly been suspended from school just before the Christmas holidays and his single mom has too much on her plate to keep him around. He is shipped off, greatly against his will, to stay with his father, his pregnant girlfriend, and her daughter Ellen, who has a well-earned reputation as a witch.
Kalli soon has his fill of the situation and he heads off to town when his father & girlfriend are off giving birth. Unfortunately for him, a severe blizzard is approaching their remote Icelandic village, and he quickly gets lost.
Ellen tracks him down and they find an empty house to wait out the storm, little realizing that they will be visited by a ghost whose good will must be earned... and by a ravenous polar bear.
