Thanks for taking the time to load from crapidshare and release! I too am a fan of the old DEFA films/series: There's always been a certain innocence and charm about them.

Looking forward to this series! Many, MANY thanks to Rich and popdrome for bringing this to FLM!!

(PS: I went ahead and made a note that this is an 'EAST' Germany release in case it needs to be moved to a different forum...)

Five part DEFA series about a girl learning to sail, who has a fascination with pirate legends. Stars the very cute Violetta Sudmann in her only acting role (too bad!). She looks about 12 here, but there's no biographical information that I've been able to dig up.

No subtitles exist for these episodes, even in German, so I'm posting the discs without them. You should be able to follow most of what's happening. If I'm wrong and someone does have subs, feel free to post them - as well as any information about Violetta.

Here are direct links for those who prefer that method or can't use eMule for whatever reason. All I ask is that if you're able to use eMule, please move the file to your shared folder and seed for a while. Every source helps.

what I did:
- upgraded size/quality to full HD using Topaz GAIA
- colour corrected using Davinci Resolve
- corrected Aspect Ratio
- contrast corrected
- rendered at x.265 (HEVC)

what I couldn't do:
- deinterlace
- produce subtitles
