Having Windows Update problem

1. Download the Software Licensing System Reset Tool package and save to the desktop:

2. Run the program to unzip it.
3. Open a command prompt and CD to the folder it created.
4. Type resetsldl -all and wait for "Re-creating clean trusted store. Success.
5. Reboot and try running the update again.
Sounds like a previous update or install didn't finish completely. Try this:patience wrote:Windows Update will not install 4 important updates. I have tried updating manually with no luck. Windows Update is giving me the following Error Code: Code 800B0100. Has anyone encountered this same problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
