Sounds like a previous update or install didn't finish completely. Try this:

1. Download the Software Licensing System Reset Tool package and save to the desktop:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... 928080.exe
2. Run the program to unzip it.
3. Open a command prompt and CD to the folder it created.
4. Type resetsldl -all and wait for "Re-creating clean trusted store. Success.
5. Reboot and try running the update again.

From the net:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883825
"You receive error 0x80070020 when you use the Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site to install updates"

After you perform above troubleshooting steps, please follow the steps below:

1. Delete the KB<whatever> package contents from the %systermroot%\servicing\packages folder on your system.

2. Run Windows Update and allow KB<whatever> to install.
But seriously... just google the error code and browse the links... this isn't really something that is best addressed at FLM.

:) This seems that there is a system issue which blocked the self update for
Windows Update Agent.
