I find all of the movies in this "touch the sun' series great. They have adventure, believable acting by the kids. and are entertaining.

Princess Kate is a virtually time stamp of the 80's down under. The clothes, cars and social mannerisms all reflect this. Justine Clarke who plays the main character 'Kate' does a great job of bringing the viewer in to her character. Kate shows off the fact she is an accomplished musician and this ties her new found family with the old. Her new family consisting of her real mother also includes her very cute half sister who also happens to be a musician. The emotions through out this film are presented well and the charm of Kate wins over everyone including myself. Great movie. :heart

From imdb:
Trivia
Many of the child actors from the "Lost Tribe" in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome (1985), appear in this film. It is also directed by the same man: George Ogilvie [with George Miller].

That's as good a reason to watch this movie as any other! Thanks for your quality bumps, Moonee. I've enjoyed your suggestions.

I've always wondered what happened to those Lost Tribe kids. Both the Tribe Who Left and the Tribe Who Stayed.

It's just... I played the movie for 1 second and it looks like it was cam-corded

Idk if it was just that little bit or the entire movie

The aspect ratio is stretched to 16:9. Should be 4:3.

Thank you ghost, I noticed that too. Stretching it wider made it look wrong. It is definitely not a camrip. It is an upscale from SD, but not with the AI high quality we are used to from some FLM members. 7 GB 2160p is definitely not justifiable from the visible results. I downloaded the 1080p version. It is not like a sharp rip from a restored BluRay but it does look good.

Although my first reaction to Moonee was "Only one second?!?" You could not find a whole 5 seconds to evaluate it?

2.83 GiB 1080p version with English subtitles. I used MKVToolnix to force playback at the proper 4:3 ratio. [Code] or [Code] English regular and SDH synced for those who do their own YouTube downloading:

I saw the title Princess Kate and was confused because I thought it was about the British Royals now, rather than in Australia 1988.
