Nice little short and very smart rabbit. This was a long-running (into the 80's) educational program designed to help children recognize the names of colors and was translated into many different languages. All the Google listings I found show this as 1961 though the opening credits say 1956 - it must have taken a long time to train Frances as good as the rabbit was trained! Thanks lara.
