Based on a true story, 'Aeron' explores the notion of home and identity through the perspective of childhood imagination. It is the story of Zinnia, a young girl whose isolated upbringing has led her to a life of fantasy. An encounter with a young traveller boy takes her and the audience on a journey of discovery through which she encounters the prejudices of a society, which marginalises the perceived other.
This coming of age story plays upon the theme of childhood innocence and the beauty of friendships. Its fantastical style blurs the boundary between imagnation and reality.
