AURORA BOREALIS - 2014 - Norway

Storyline

Aurora borealis is a story about Emina, a nine-year-old refugee from Bosnia who ends up in Troms together with her mother and a little brother. Her main goal is to find her father who has gone missing in Bosnia. After a meeting with Abdi, a fourteen-year-old refugee from Somalia, she thinks
she has become a drug addict; she sees things in the sky.

As of yet, no imdb page for this one yet. The director [ Dino Murselovic ] has a page but only one film to his credit and this one AIN'T it... ;)

Great find Moonee! I updated the thread so that the year matches what IMDB posted.

Of course, IMDB can not be the last word on anything. It claims that the language of this short is "English" but it is not and I was bewildered because I was not hearing anything even slightly Scandinavian either. Ah, it must be (mostly) Bosnian. It has hardcoded Norsk (Norwegian) subtitles.

This was posted by the director with this comment:
Se fra 03:00 - 13:00 min (10 min) om ikke dere kan se hele filmen.
"Watch from 03:00 - 13:00 min (10 min) if you can't watch the whole film."

Very odd considering it is only 14:40 total.
