The French-Italian co-production by Arte and Sky will make its way onto television in November. It will be broadcast in this country from November 4 on Thursdays at 9:00 pm on Arte. But a few weeks before that, the original version of "Anna" with subtitles will be available in the Arte media library - where it will be available for viewing as early as September 10, according to the culture channel.

With "Anna", Niccolò Ammaniti is now filming his new novel after "A Miracle" ("Il Miracolo"). The six-part series is about a world devastated by a plague, where only the children have survived. Undeterred, the girl Anna searches for her little brother. Arte describes the series as a "simultaneously dark and poetic journey to one's own self" - also against the background of the disturbing reference to current events.

no english subs anywhere

This show actually looks really cool. I am looong over zombie stuff, but this looks like it's more character and drama driven, rather than one scene after another of running from grossly makeupped extras, and it looks like the narrative focuses on the main girl and some of her young comrades.

Previously it seems no English subs were available and all the files shared here have German hardcoded subs. Opensubs now has what appear to be quality English subs for all 6 episodes:

I am in the middle of downloading non hardsubbed video files, most of which seem to be sourced. I'll add the edk links in a little bit, just to check.

Hmmm, one of those stories with children on their own and no parents. I seem to remember liking other movies with a similar theme. Now that there are English subs I think I can reasonably follow a TV-miniseries plotline.

Thank you pillowbaker and DreamScape! Before I jump on downloading any version right away, I will wait and see what pillowbaker reports about the files that he found.

Ok, I can't promise this will be any easier than DreamScape's most friendly suggestion, but I think I figured it out. Searching for "Anna" on emule took a little extra time. The files and screenshots on TNT look incredibly good. They are around 2+gb per episode, which range from around 45 minutes to and hour long. Subs appear to be included.

There is more variety, for better or worse, already available on emule, and all the files I tried grabbing downloaded relatively fast, even those with few sources.

The files I recommend appear to be from a scene releasers called grupto, but I sorta splurged because the show looks interesting and well designed. 1080p, average 2.5gb per episode. English, Spanish and Castilian subs. Original Italian audio and Castilian dub:
