Thanks, have not seen this in decades! I remember preferring this adaptation to the other Dangerous Liaisons version from that time period because that one had actors who were WAY too old for the parts. Valmont has a younger cast that more closely fits the characters.

Personally, I don't much care either way. Films are all about illusion. As long as the body double doesn't break the illusion, I don't mind.

I only do this to prevent certain fans from creating that kind of fantasy of ........ 'that actress got naked in this movie' and to be precise if they really did it or if they used a double I could quote adult actresses who They use nude doubles but it doesn't come to the point.

If we look closely at the scene, we see a shot, we see the face of the actress and another shot of the aforementioned scene, why can't we see the full shot? That happens all the time in the movies, although sometimes the actor's face is not seen so that the double does his job. I can cite some similar scenes but with adult actresses. Anna Taylor Joy is not the one who walks naked in The Witch.
Dakota Johnson used a double in fifty shades of gray, she was not going to receive a lash, you can only see her ass but it is not determined if it is hers.
