Supposedly there are things to do online other than dropping by FLM or looking for movies ... but for the life of me I can't think what they would be!

Normally I just use emule to share, but also normally I don't share full DVD9s. In this case I figured that there had to be something that would be faster ... for the downloaders, anyway. And it would not be taking up huge space in my shared folder.

YouTube without some sort of adblock is obnoxious. But I would not want you to do without Miles Davis:

I will check out uBlock Origin next time, thanks!
ghost's AdBlock Plus is also great. At one time I was using BOTH, but I had some recent browser issues where I was switching browsers and uninstalling / reinstalling extensions.

I've got the 15 parts (on review of the VOB files there's a 2.5gb in that ISO that could have been dropped I think - strange doc about a short indian man?) There's another VOB that is an interview with the film makers - I'll keep that bit.
The film source is very good quality - will do a 720p upscale of it and release here in about a week or so. Not sure if it's worth doing a 1080p as the source is only 480p 16x9 enhanced. 576p 16x9 enhanced and it might have worked.
As discussed the film is barely on topic. The girl makes an appearance in a few mud people scenes, and at least one other scene in the film at the dinner table - not sure about any others? About 1-2 minutes of screen time. But for rarity and completeness I think people might be interested in seeing it in good quality.
Strangely "DVD2AVI" reports the film as "progressive". But it's got interlacing very very clearly in the video. So I'm testing that Virtual Dub 2 tool Ghost recomended to remove it, if that doesn't work there's a good Topaz tool that removes interlacing (when the film is 29.97 and the video is not 59.94).

Yes, by FULL DVD COPY I meant exactly that: everything included without prejudice. For just the movie itself without extras, I put a much smaller MKV of that on Uloz and emule.

I was confused by the frame rate I was seeing in the ISO. I looked through the settings of DVD Decrypter to see if there was something I could change to make it different, but I could not find anything. blu-ray.com claims that the original DVD is 480i (NTSC). If true, that would account for the interlacing.

I leave the deinterlacing to the experts. A 720p enhanced version would be quite nice.

Will be uploading my 720p upscale encode within the hour - so I'd ignore the previous download for now, the DVD is 8gb of files, my mkv is a little over 2gb. The DVD does suffer from some haloing in some of the colour scenes (which I couldn't remove) - but other than that it enhanced well to 720p.

My 720p Topaz enhance on this unusual and rare film. I also included one extra from the DVD that seemed interesting.
As others have stated, the girl is only in this film for a few minutes.
Note also the film has some German dialogue about 10minutes in, I thought I'd ripped the wrong audio track - but this German audio is a deliberate decision by the film makers - as mentioned on the extra I included.
I have included 2 subtitle tracks. Track 1 has just one subtitle (copied from the main subtitle track) that mentions the German narration - am a bit worried some would give up on the film thinking this is a German dub or something! So please don't remove this from the mkv!
Track 2 - the full english subtitles. There in the mkv if anyone wants it.

I've split the zip over several files. Again, if someone can share into eMule.
