The main character, Kirill Bazhenov, is a fashion photographer who is invited to photograph artists, politicians, athletes and other celebrities. Kirill has a friend, Major Alexei Molchanov, whom he met at the collector's. Alexei and Kirill turned out to have one hobby - tin soldiers.
