BIRDLAND is an intimate and moving film about a daughter and a mother in a trailerpark on the outskirts of a city. The heart of the film is Skye, the tough 8-year-old daughter of Joy. Skye desires to be older and more mature, just like her mother.

I was very confused when I scrolled immediately to a scene that seemed to be English instead of Dutch. But it turns out that "What the F**K?!" may be a universally known expression. Most of the dialog is indeed Dutch.

I think you're right about this

I've seen a few swedish films where the entire film is swedish but you see a scene of someone saying "What the F**K"
