Jeez. I get not casting same age as character anymore but over 20yo for a 13yo character? Why not cast someone who just turned 18/19 and still looks young?

I now have 1080p videos and English subtitles synced to them, but I am going to subject you to one of my wordy explanatory posts while I give the links. I can't help myself! Skip to the videos and subtitles at the end if you want.
Trying to find the video associated with an opensubtitle subtitle is usually a losing proposition. Often it can not be found, or it is no longer seeded, or it is only available through private trackers with downloading restrictions.
The opensubtitles named video is at this private tracker: https://www3.yggtorrent.qa/torrent/film ... +1+x265-k7 I did not download it. I don't use private trackers. I moved on. It comes with French subtitles, so they are surely the source of the English machine-translated subtitles at opensubtitle. They should be synced accordingly.
In this case both the English and the "French" subtitles I linked are ENGLISH, just slightly different from each other. (About 1/100th of a second difference in timing.) The "French" (actually English) subtitles have the Hearing Impaired sound effect information italicized to differentiate it from the dialog, so that is the one I used. It also italicized book titles, so I changed the Hearing Impaired sound effects to the standard square brackets, such as
[A door slams]
I found two well-sourced torrents I could easily get. They both have the same framerate and runtime. With SubtitleEdit, I took a guess and changed the framerate of the opensubtitle from 24fps to 25fps. It then was synced exactly to both of them. Get one of these torrent versions and the subtitles I post after them and they will work.
This movie fits the stereotype of an excessively talky French drama. I calculated it at about one line of dialog every 4.8 seconds! That old bald guy WOULD NOT SHUT UP! I did not need the subtitles to tell that his character is a pretentious ass and a disgusting creep. I wanted to smash his f***ing face with a brick, giving him a mouthful of broken teeth. This was just from the small amount of time spent making sure the subtitles were synced.
