As this is a busy time of the year for me, I usually have to mentally stretch out Halloween a few extra days to get to everything I wanted to.

Do you have to buy tons of sweets for the kids or do you this trick-or-treat thingie?

I live in a somewhat secluded area with few neighbors. Mostly just trees around me, so no need for the candy. And I don't need to participate in the trick-'r-treat thing. I still have my Star Trek costume, if the need arises. This time, I did visit family with the idea we may hand out candy, but we just ended up playing video games and someone else handled the trick-'r-treaters.
How about yourself?
