Through a combination of live action and pixilation stop motion we see the world through Eleanor’s eyes: confusing, disorientating and sometimes scary. The house is an isolated metaphor for her child-like state: Eleanor attempts to navigate her way through until fantasy and reality are literally blurred and she is left unable to get back inside.
