[REL] Les ballets écarlates (2007)

A pedophilia network organizes games with children. One of them, Eric, manages to escape from this horror party and takes refuge with Violaine, a forest ranger whose son has mysteriously disappeared.

So this is another take on the "evil paedophile ring" story, by the well-known FLM director Jean-Pierre Mocky. Les ballets écarlates is a far cry from, for example, the subtle masterpiece Espíritu sagrado. Sure, it's not QAnon-level stupidity like Small World and not as pointless as The Vigilante. But I mostly agree with the below review:
Unfortunately he fails dismally. The lack of means is so glaring that it's impossible to take this story seriously; this may be the worst cast I have ever seen. The interpretation is so amateurish that it is involuntarily funny and some scenes turn the movie into a comedy, or worse, a parody.
