I've been sifting through a large number of spooky shorts to find something to share here at FLM. Found a few. This one was pretty cool. It has quite a few neat camera and graphics effects, and sets up its atmosphere with a nice, creepy vibe. It may or may not have some sudden scares in it. It got me a couple times.
Anyone want to venture a guess as to what Dorothy whispers at time 3:55?

My guess:
Spoiler:
"clowns"
???? Don't tell me if I'm right. I'll find out if it is something that scary.

My guess is
Spoiler:
"I see red balloons"
similar to
"I see dead people"
from Sixth Sense

She says "Shhh! She's going to hear us!"
Spoiler:
I don't get how she suddenly comes to the conclusion that there's someone else in the house after discovering the girl never had a rabbit plush. That's some bizarre movie logic.
And when she finds out she just darts out the front door without trying to help the poor girl. What a cunt.
Pretty neat little short. There were some clear nods to David Fincher that I liked.

Nice little spooky short. Thanks, pillowbaker.
And yes: I also hear "Shhh! She's going to hear us!"

Love the guesses Davros and Night.
Glad it was enjoyable. Wish there was just a bit more of little Dorothy in the short. I hear exactly what guava and ghost guessed, too.
Spoiler:
guava, you're right, it is a little silly that you have to assume that Julie just figured out what was going on with somewhat insignificant info. Maybe in this movie world, unexplained stuffed animals are a concrete, urgent sign of danger.
I think we are supposed to assume there is a connection to the costumed intruder and this specific house. He has the name Alister Radford, and the name on the family's front gate says "Radford House". And the Dorothy seems to be familiar with him. Maybe he is an older brother? Funny how Dorothy's parents are unaware of Alister's escape despite it being blared on the news.
But hey, such is the ways of movie watching. This one spooked me enough to get me through the whole subversion of expectations thing, if only until after the end.
