Stella, a young girl, is sent by her father to live with her morose grandmother, the headmistress of the closed museum, for december. It is present time, but one thing is different: christmas does not exist. Stella feels lonely as she walks along the old objects in the museum. By the many old objects she find a strange seed, which she absolutely is not allowed to touch. Even so, Stella steals the seed. And she wishes a family... A long, long time earlier, in the stone age, lives the family Hedenh's. The father in the family, Ben (Bone), is a real inventor and has built a rocket. One evening a star in the sky dies, leaving a black hole. The Hedenh's family decides to try fly up in the sky and find out why the star disappeared. But when they reach the black hole, their rocket is drawn into it and... they are thrown out from the sky and down to the ground again, and crashes into the museum where Stella lives. Stella had an answer to her wish...

I laughed at the idea of a caveman flying on a rocket into outer space because it seemed so ridiculous. But then I thought of Captain Caveman flying solely from the power of his huge club. OK, as long as these cavemen had discovered fire then I guess it is possible.
