Step-by-Step eMule Setup

Ok I installed version 0.50a
Now how do I open the file using emule. Also where do I find the file link? It is very complicated and not straightforward instructions you gave me.

OK, update I installed the app and I opened the file with emule. It is not downloading though. It's in the transfers section of the app but, I don't know what to do from that point on.

Ok, second update I made progress. It is just taking forever to complete the download.

Any tips on how to get it to load faster? It is only doing 40 kilobytes at a time. Which is incredibly slow. It's taking days to load. Also, I just reopened emule only to find I lost 8 hours of download completion. Can anyone help?
