They’re trying to cash in from all sides—demanding excessive control and restrictions from filmmakers while offering a poorer experience to audiences. The quality of service keeps dropping, with intrusive ads and forced promotions ruining the enjoyment. Festivals should be about celebrating creativity and viewers, but instead, they’re turning into commercial messes that alienate both creators and fans alike. It’s time for them to rethink their priorities.
