If there was just one rich person that either liked this website, or worked for it, what would be the extent of what they could get in real life? Meaning, could they just buy their way to getting archived scenes such as in Hud and other movies? Is the barrier a money barrier, or are these secret scenes just considered illegal?
The point of this discussion would be to discuss the hypothetical scenarios on how these scenes could be obtained in a perfect world, and movie examples of scenes that are locked and are harder to get than others.
If it’s a money problem, I’m sure someone could sacrifice a few bucks for the greater good
Also, if there are any movie scenes that are available now that once were locked away in the tallest tower, let us know! It may give us hope for future scenes

One scenario would be a tycoon owning the Paramount rights to Pretty Baby, or perhaps a CEO with a penchant for that kind of crazy film, who might even order a remake similar to Psycho from 1998. The only barrier would be overriding the board if, hypothetically, more than half of them were liberal progressives.

True true. Yeah I didn’t even think about it in that sense. In that hypothetical though, I’m sure there would be tons of controversy, but I guess that hasn’t stopped some of these filmmakers. I and all of you can see the decline in OT movies such as the ones mentioned, but some pop up and surprise me like L'arte Della Gioia, which I would imagine something like that in the 80s, but not today! Gives me hope that there will be more in the future

Independent cinema tends to have more creative freedom; they care more about the criticism of any European festival than an aspiration for an Oscar; in the future, it's better to support international cinema.

We live in hope, although I wouldn't hold your breath
