This is a documentary about a school with a different outlook which was revolutionary when it started. Summerhill, the first and last bastion of totally permissive, anti-authoritarian, "free" education, has been going strong for over seven decades. This program shows how Summerhill children, left entirely to their own devices, behave; it looks at whether
they spurn or take advantage of the academic education offered; whether a tribunal can be effective when the vote of a five-year-old carries as much weight as that of the headmistress. Well, I have a picture book on Summerhill put out back in the '80's, and one of the things that they emphasized was that children had very little restrictions put on them at that school.

They also had pix of the children swimming, and noted that a number of the children enjoy swimming in the nude, and this is NOT discouraged!

I wonder if THIS will be covered in the vid?? :
