As many times as I've seen this movie, I did not even remember this scene and could not IMAGINE the FLM connection. I guess I tried to ignore all the Malcolm scenes.

Fascinating, this isn't just some naked teen, it kind of developed into a whole subculture... the girl was credited as "Soo Catwoman", and, as I understand it, became something of a pin up for young girls , with an equal distain from the public of course. Some more interesting images from the time...
edit hmm this is kind of interesting "Soo catwoman" was a member of the punk rock scene, but they chose a younger girl to represent her in the documentary.... "I wasn't 14 - I was 21 at the time but I take it as a compliment." (who knows why, maybe to make it more controversial / realistic)...
This is a terrible quality video. The interlacing isn't going away. Might need AI intervention.

Thank emuler I know it's on DVD but I've heard that the DVD is worse than the VHS and no Blu Ray planned, probably because of the above scene

I'm trying to deinterlace this. The process is expected to take about 12 hours.
Abandoned deinterlacing using Topaz AI - made the video look even worse. Now trying a different software.

It wouldn't be PUNK if it did not look like shit!
The U.S. DVD is 480i and the more expensive U.K. DVD is a whopping 576i, so maybe that one is better. (Though not worth £29.95 used!)
