Thinking of joining but the prices seem expensive and why not offer free shipping both ways ? That would help a lot. Can't they make some kind of agreement with the USPS like other online renting companies like greencine ? Greencine is very small as well. Is it worth joining CVMC? Any other sites out there like CVMC ?

CVMC rents DVDs but they are not like the DVDs you would buy in the store There are nocommentaries, deleted scenes or altenate audio. It appears the DVD is a direct rip of the main film as it played. Some DVDs are dubs of vhs or PAL tapes. Quality is questionable. I have rented only once. They require tou to retun via high-priced USMail Priority shipping. About 9.00 shipping cost on 4 disc.
All DVDs are dubbs with the title written by hand on face of disc. No Cases or Liner notes. Bare bones. The nudity can be awesome or a dud. Read the descriptions carefully. of 4 that I rented, 1 was a jewel (no serious nudity) but the plot and Cinematics were great quality. DVD print was great quality. other 3 were duds. I will probably rent again mostly because you receive 2 free rentals when you join. I would be interested in finding another vendor as well. Look at Amazon.com DVDs can be very economical. "Tom and Lola" is great. "Boy Takes Girl" was great but I cannot locate in DVD format. I am also looking for "Children's Island". I saw it on HBO in the early 80's Lots of peek-a-boos. My public Library has a lot of Foreign Language films in the "International" section. Look at your local Library. I saw "Smash Palace" there. Cute bathtub scene.
