Just released. No complete source yet - probably on JumpStart or Powershare.

Unfortunately this isn’t a release if it doesn’t have a complete source
<moved to REQ section just until someone spots it complete>
Thanks for the heads up BTW

You're just making extra work for yourself, there is no way a file gets 1500 peers without a full source. It's there somewhere but all 1500 can't connect to it obviously. I just got this from Usenet (released last night), it's definitely verified.

Here is the release page:

Those familiar with Powershare, Jumpstart and similar release mechanisms will recognize the pattern. Anyway, I see two complete sources now.
[EDIT] three complete sources now.

There are enough idiots out there to queue an incomplete move, definitely more than 1500 of them!!
As for making work for myself, moving threads is a piece of piss.
Oh no, emuler says it has complete sources now, so I have the exhausting task of moving the thread back to release

Most recently, when ghost released Pretty Baby (uncropped), he was rarely to be seen as a complete source, even though we all knew that he was the releaser, and hence must be the complete source.
This is a very common trick supported by many clients. As the releaser uploads parts, he hides them, so that the rest of the users waiting can get them from those who just downloaded those parts, while the releaser can get on with uploading other parts.
Also, since you have to upload until your file completes, deliberately holding off the completion process until the very end is an effective countermeasure against those people who unshare the file as soon as it completes.

Well, I'm a bit guilty of that. Although I held Pretty Baby two weeks. It's my laptop. If I don't keep 20 gb or more free, it doesn't work right.
lol @ piece of piss.

I do as emuler states with all my releases. This is the best way of getting them spread without too many people unsharing instantly. Btw.. some astrid lindgren shorts is put in share... might make a proper releasepost in a few days time.

The thing is, if the author of a new thread states that the films sources are incomplete, then obviously it will be moved to the request section until we know it’s complete.
I’m not downloading this movie myself, so I won’t know when it will have complete sources.
So all I have to go by is the statement made in the first post.
If a release thread is created and it links to a movie that will be known by the releaser to have complete sources within the day, it might just be worth releaser mentioning it to start with, or not even mention it at all.

I thought 'just released' was explanation enough. Guess not. Will be more explicit next time. Sorry for the screwup.
Anyway, several hundred complete sources now, so we can all breathe easy.
