shows thursday 2nd oct 9pm channel 4 (UK), looks like a sad (but interesting) story, amazing that she is only 8yo and has this illness

I just can’t get my head round this affecting a girl of 8 though.
I know this much, if I ever have a daughter, she will not be raised by TV, I will make sure I broaden her horizons!
People say it’s not that simple, well I beg to differ having seen kids raised very well.

Certainly uncomfortable viewing but sadly, welcome to the real world. FLM is not just about Pretty in pink/Dakota Fanning/etc.
